Are you a professional, reliable courier looking for consistent overnight contract work?

We are seeking dedicated Independent Contractors to join our medical logistics network in the Wake Forest and greater Triangle area. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the secure, time-sensitive transport of lab specimens, blood products, and diagnostic materials between laboratories, hospitals, and clinics.

Because you will be handling critical healthcare items, precision, punctuality, and strict adherence to safety protocols are non-negotiable.

What the Position Requires

• Night Owls Wanted: True overnight and early morning availability (8 PM – 8 AM window) is a strict requirement.
• Specimen Care: Transporting medical items requires an eye for detail. You must strictly follow temperature requirements and secure chain-of-custody protocols.
• Vehicle Standards: A reliable, clean, and fully climate-controlled vehicle is required to ensure specimen integrity during transport.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR).
• Current vehicle insurance policy. 100/300/50
• Smartphone with a active data plan for routing and electronic proof of delivery.
• Experience: Prior experience in lab specimen or diagnostic transport is highly preferred.
• Compliance: Must pass a background check. Knowledge of HIPAA and Bloodborne Pathogen standards is a major plus
