Independent Process Server – Contract / 1099 – 30–50 per Serve – Warren County, NY

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and professional independent process server to serve legal documents throughout Warren County, NY. This is a 1099 contract position with per-serve compensation of $30-$50 per serve, negotiable based on experience, volume, and availability. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Serve legal documents accurately and in a timely manner

• Document all service attempts clearly, including time, location, and method

• Prepare court-compliant affidavits of service

• Communicate promptly and professionally regarding service status

Requirements:

• Previous experience serving process preferred

• Knowledge of New York State service-of-process rules

• Reliable transportation and a smartphone

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail

• Background as a legal courier, service of process professional, or a Criminal Justice graduate is a plus

• Must be willing to cover all areas of Warren County, NY
