Independent Process Server – Contract / 1099 - Standard Serve within Washington County

We are seeking a reliable and professional independent process server to serve legal documents throughout Washington County, NY. This is a 1099 contract position with per-serve compensation. Rates are negotiable based on experience, volume, and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Serve legal documents accurately and on time

• Document service attempts clearly (time, location, and method)

• Prepare court-compliant affidavits of service

• Communicate promptly about service status

Requirements:

• Previous experience serving process preferred

• Knowledge of New York service-of-process rules

• Reliable transportation and smartphone

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail

• Must be willing to cover all areas of Washington County, NY
