Indian Music Vocal Teacher

• Conduct regular classes (individual and group) in Hindustani classical vocal music.
• Teach students about swaras, ragas, taals, compositions (bandishes), and improvisation techniques.
• Train students in both practical and theoretical aspects of Hindustani classical music.
• Prepare students for stage performances, exams, and competitions.
• Develop lesson plans tailored to the needs and levels of students (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
• Encourage discipline, riyaaz (practice), and respect for the art form.
• Collaborate with other faculty for concerts, workshops, and cultural programs.
• Provide feedback and progress reports to students and parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Formal training in Hindustani classical music (Visharad/ Sangeet Prabhakar/ equivalent diploma or degree).
• Strong command over ragas, taals, and vocal techniques.
• Prior teaching experience (preferred but not mandatory for highly skilled performers).
• Ability to work with children and adults with patience and motivation.
• Good communication skills in Hindi and/or English.
• Passion for preserving and promoting Indian classical traditions.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 per week
