Indirect Buyer

Position Summary

We’re seeking an immediate hire for a Temporary Indirect Buyer to support our Global Procurement team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Global Procurement, this role will help manage procurement processes, support internal stakeholders, and collaborate with vendors to drive efficiency and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert requisitions into purchase orders across various departments
• Support and improve procurement workflows and processes
• Partner with stakeholders to meet procurement needs in a timely manner
• Engage vendors to negotiate terms, support contracting, and strengthen relationships
• Collaborate with Legal on contract review and redlining
• Assist with vendor onboarding and ensure compliance with policies
• Support year-end tasks: renewals, reporting, and closing open items
• Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance; escalate issues as needed
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely invoice processing
• Contribute to procurement reporting and tracking metrics for leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3–5 years in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in indirect categories and a tech environment
• Familiarity with SaaS, procurement strategies, and contract processes
• Experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Cloud Procurement highly desirable
• Skilled in reviewing supplier agreements, SOWs, and related documents
• Strong MS Excel and Word skills; procurement tools experience a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
