Indoor playground assistant

Job Overview

primarily responsible for actively monitoring children's play within the facility, ensuring their safety by enforcing rules, addressing potential hazards, maintaining a clean environment, interacting positively with children and parents, and assisting with birthday parties or other special events, all while providing excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include:

• Safety Supervision:
• Continuously observe children on the playground to identify potential safety risks and intervene when necessary.
• Enforce playground rules and guidelines to maintain a safe play environment.
• Respond promptly to accidents or injuries, providing first aid as needed and reporting incidents to management.
• Customer Service:
• Greet guests warmly and answer questions about the facility.
• Check-in customers, ensuring waivers are signed and collecting necessary fees.
• Engage with children in a positive and friendly manner.
• Address parent concerns and provide assistance when needed.
• Facility Maintenance:
• Regularly clean and sanitize play equipment and common areas.
• Monitor the condition of the playground equipment and report any damage or maintenance issues.
• Assist with restocking supplies and organizing play areas.
• Birthday Parties and Events:
• Set up and decorate party rooms for birthday celebrations.
• Assist with party activities and food service.
• Manage party flow and ensure a positive experience for birthday guests.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and incident reports.
• Communicate important information to management and other staff members.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
