Indoor Sales Executive — Perfume Shop, Sharjah

Position: Indoor Sales Executive
Department: Sales / Retail
Reports to: Sales Manager

Purpose:
To provide excellent customer experience in-store, driving sales of perfumes and fragrances; meeting sales targets; maintaining product presentation and stock; contributing to customer loyalty and repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, understand preferences, recommend perfumes.
  • Offer product sampling / testing, explain fragrance notes, ingredients, usage.
  • Close sales, process payments (cash/card), issue receipts.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of perfume brands, new launches, trends.
  • Be able to compare brands / product lines (e.g. notes, longevity, sillage).
  • Ensure shelves, testers, displays are clean, well-stocked and arranged per brand guidelines.
  • Rotate testers, monitor expiry dates.
  • Assist with promotions / campaigns visuals, signage.
  • Monitor stock levels; report re-orders / shortages to supervisor.
  • Receive deliveries, check accuracy, store appropriately.
  • Maintain records of daily sales, returns, gift packaging etc.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, monthly sales and KPIs (average transaction value, units per customer, conversion rate).
  • Track performance vs targets; report with supporting data.
  • Handle customer feedback / complaints courteously.
  • Build customer relationships (e.g. loyalty program, wish list, special orders).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in retail / cosmetics / perfumes preferred (1-2 years minimum).
  • Good communication skills (English + ideally Arabic).
  • Sales-oriented, confident in closing and upselling.
  • Reliable, presentable, good interpersonal skills.
  • Numeracy for handling cash, POS, simple sales analysis.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
