Job Description: Inside Sales Executive Location: Head Office, Deonar, Mumbai, India. Employment Type: Full-time (Initial 6-month office-based role, potential work-from-home option based on performance) Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Inside Sales Executive with 3 to 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the metal forming industry. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying potential customers, engaging with them through online and telephonic communication, and effectively promoting our products. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of the industry, and proficiency in digital tools for sales and reporting. Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Customer Outreach . Conduct online research to identify and compile a database of potential customers in the metal forming industry. . Use LinkedIn, company websites, directories, and industry databases to find relevant contacts. . Initiate first-level communication via email to introduce SPS, our products, and solutions. 2. Customer Engagement & Sales Communication . Follow up on initial email communication with phone calls to establish direct contact with decision-makers. . Understand customer requirements, technical challenges, and operational needs to recommend suitable products. . Address customer queries, provide detailed product information, and highlight key benefits. 3. Proposal & Quotation Management . Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and presentations in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. . Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines in coordination with the sales and technical teams. . Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, and order status. 4. CRM & Reporting . Maintain and update the sales pipeline using MIS reporting tools. . Track and analyze sales performance, conversion rates, and follow-up schedules. . Generate periodic reports for management review and strategy planning. 5. Coordination with Internal Teams . Work closely with technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. . Gather feedback from customers and provide inputs for product development and improvements. Required Skills & Qualifications Education & Experience: . Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field. . 3 to 5 years of experience in sales and marketing within the metal forming industry. . Prior experience in inside sales, business development, or technical sales is preferred. Technical & Soft Skills: . Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. . Strong email drafting, phone communication, and negotiation abilities. . Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MIS reporting. . Familiarity with CRM software and online sales tools is an added advantage. . Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
