Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Industrial CDL B Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various heavy-duty roll-off trucks to transport waste containers and materials efficiently across multiple sites. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure smooth delivery and pickup operations while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a heavy-duty truck such as roll-off truck to transport waste containers and materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Drive in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting repairs needed to maintain optimal truck performance.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle inspections for compliance purposes.
Experience
- Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record; experience operating roll-off trucks is highly preferred.
- Proven commercial driving experience with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks or tractor-trailers.
- Mechanical knowledge related to truck systems including manual transmissions and hydraulic equipment.
- Experience with load & unload procedures using flatbeds or roll-off containers in various environments.
- Familiarity with safety protocols for heavy lifting and operating large trucks in urban or industrial settings.
