Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this vital role, you will operate specialized roll-off trucks to transport and dispose of waste and recyclable materials efficiently and safely. Your expertise in heavy-duty vehicle operation, combined with your strong work ethic, will ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, including rear loader, front loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to load, transport, and unload waste containers
• Attach and detach roll-off containers securely onto trucks for transport or disposal purposes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal safety and operational readiness
• Be able to complete all daily tasks on company provided handhelds including work tickets, pre and post trip inspections
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate schedules and resolve operational issues promptly

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers
• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles in diverse environments
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record and familiarity with local traffic laws
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy vehicle operation and waste management practices
• Ability to perform routine maintenance checks on trucks and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and ensuring smooth operations

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
