Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL B certified roll-off trucks, including front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to pick up and deliver waste containers.
• Load, unload, and secure materials using manual handling techniques and mechanical equipment such as front loaders or flatbeds.
• Perform routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal safety and maintenance standards are met.
• Navigate urban and industrial sites with precision, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks during loading and unloading processes, ensuring proper technique to prevent injury.
• Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) B with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic repair procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading operations.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, precision, and adherence to regulations.
• Prior delivery driver experience in waste management or related industries is highly desirable.
