Industrial Coatings Superintendent & Field Operations Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industrial Coatings Superintendent & Field Operations Manager to lead and oversee large-scale industrial coating projects. This pivotal role combines hands-on supervision with strategic management of field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, coatings application, and project coordination, driving excellence across all facets of industrial surface protection initiatives.

A qualified applicant shall exhibit sound operational experience and specific knowledge of industrial surface preparation and coatings projects as well as overall construction knowledge. Must have reliable and professional communication and coordination skills with the ability to be to an effective leader and demonstrate a positive attitude while implementing and managing a “team” environment with General Contractors, Engineers, Inspectors, Crew Foreman and Tradespersons.

Desirable Applicants will be well organized self-starters who can identify and set priorities within their area of responsibility, while communicating and working with other Managers, Safety Personnel and support staff to ensure projects are planned, equipped, staffed and executed on-time and on-budget, in a safe and effective manner. Applicants must have a working knowledge of the following but not limited to industry regulations, quality control, safety, industry specific and general equipment operation and troubleshooting as well as knowledge of protective coatings systems.

Applicants must have the ability to communicate and plan around project controls and constraints in order to effectively schedule labor and equipment for multiple concurrent and sequential projects while working to manage costs, logistics and problem solving while eliminating surprises

A successful applicant must demonstrate the ability to conduct themselves in a professional manner with Colleagues, Customers, Clients and Owners. Mobile Devise and Computer Competency with regular use of email and mobile project apps is preferable. Qualified Applicants will have the opportunity to function with their predecessor as required to transition into this role.

Must: Have a Driver’s License (CDL is favorable and beneficial to employment)

Must: Maintain a Drug & Alcohol Free workplace.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
