Industrial Concrete Foreman/Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Industrial Concrete Foreman/Laborer to lead and assist in the construction and finishing of concrete structures on commercial and renovation projects. This dynamic role combines hands-on labor with supervisory responsibilities, ensuring that concrete work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. As a key member of our construction team, you will oversee daily operations on-site, coordinate with other trades, and ensure that all work aligns with project plans and schematics. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in various aspects of concrete installation, masonry, framing, and site management while contributing to impactful building projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise concrete pouring, finishing, and curing processes to ensure smooth workflows and high-quality results.
  • Assist with rebar installation, form setting, and concrete forming to prepare sites for pouring.
  • Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and effectively on-site.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements accurately.
  • Perform manual labor including heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors for tasks such as metal stud framing, roofing, stucco application, tile laying, and flooring installation.
  • Conduct quality control inspections for concrete finishing, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, welding, and restoration work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and construction standards throughout all phases of work.
  • Support renovation projects by applying skills in carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and heavy equipment operation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work progress and report any issues or delays promptly.

Experience

  • Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete installation and finishing.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading detailed blueprints or schematics.
  • Hands-on knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming techniques, and concrete pumping systems.
  • Skilled in operating hand tools such as trowels, hammers, saws, power drills, as well as heavy machinery like forklifts or cranes when necessary.
  • Strong background in masonry work including stucco application and tile laying is preferred.
  • Experience with restoration projects or renovation work involving carpentry or metal stud framing is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks performed.
  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience operating heavy equipment is a plus. Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
