Industrial Design & Research Specialist

DS Studio is seeking an Industrial Design & Research Specialist to support experimental design development, digital modeling, and prototyping. The role involves research-driven exploration of form, structure, and materiality, using advanced 3D tools and physical prototyping methods.

This position is ideal for someone who is curious, technically capable, and comfortable working across research, modeling, and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct design and material research to support industrial and collectible projects
• Develop and refine 3D models using Blender and Rhino
• Translate research insights into functional and experimental forms
• Prepare files for prototyping and physical testing
• Collaborate closely with the studio team on iterative development

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Blender and Rhino
• Understanding of industrial design principles and form development
• Research-oriented mindset with strong documentation habits
• Ability to move between concept exploration and technical execution

Added Advantage

• Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping
• Familiarity with digital fabrication workflows
• Interest in material experimentation and production processes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD500.000 - BD1,000.000 per month
