Industrial Designer - 3D CAD Modeler - Marine Sheet Metal Design

Location: Tacoma, WA (In-person only)

Pay: $36-$52 / Hr + Profit Sharing, Healthcare, Dental.

At Silverback Marine, our niche is that we don’t have one—which means you’ll never be stuck designing the same thing twice. One week you might be modeling a shallow-draft landing craft for a parks department, the next a high-speed patrol boat for law enforcement. Every project is different, every design has a challenge, and every boat you model will be built just steps from your desk. In house CNC machines, lasers, and 3D printers make prototyping a breeze.

We’re looking for a Rhino 3D or Solidworks wizard with hands-on experience designing sheet metal products.. You’ll work directly with skilled welders, fabricators, and project managers to bring one-of-a-kind vessels to life. Experience in Sketchup Pro is also acceptable.

You’ll Succeed Here If You Have:

• Mastery of Rhino, Sketchup, or Solidworks CAD software
• Proven experience in sheet metal product design
• Strong technical drawing and drafting skills
• A knack for solving complex design challenges
• A team-oriented, hands-on mindset
