Industrial Electrician

Job Summary

Future Scaffolding & Aluminium Industries is seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our Maintenance Department at our aluminum extrusion factory. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and control systems to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inspection & Diagnosis

• Perform periodic inspections of all electrical and control systems and their components.
• Identify potential faults and ensure safe and efficient system performance.

2. Preventive Maintenance

• Implement scheduled preventive maintenance for electrical panels, motors, cables, and associated components.
• Ensure electrical systems operate within design and safety standards.

3. Troubleshooting & Repair

• Diagnose and repair electrical circuit malfunctions quickly and effectively.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of electrical and automatic control system components.

4. Diagram Reading

• Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Identify wire flow paths, circuit connections, and fault points accurately.

5. Electrical Systems Maintenance

• Inspect and maintain AC/DC motors, VFDs/Inverters, contactors, and related components.
• Ensure proper functioning and safety compliance of all electrical equipment.

6. Control Systems

• Work with conventional control circuits.
• Understand PLC fundamentals including sensors, fuses, and input/output systems.

7. Wiring & Installations

• Perform cable laying and routing.
• Install circuit breakers, switches, and ensure proper grounding of equipment.

8. Documentation

• Record all maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate logs of repairs and spare parts usage.

Required Qualifications

• Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) in Industrial Maintenance – Electrical specialization.
• Experience: 3–5 years of field experience in:
• Maintenance of heavy industrial machinery
• Electrical and control systems
• Aluminum extrusion equipment

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of electrical principles and control systems.
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments and electrical tools.
• Experience working with electromechanical systems related to hydraulics and industrial machinery.
• Ability to perform accurate diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
