Industrial Electrician

Camco Chemical is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Industrial Electrician who will also perform general industrial maintenance technician duties, with a primary emphasis on electrical systems and controls. This role supports continuous operations by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, mechanical, and process-related equipment in a chemical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is electrically strong, mechanically capable, and flexible in supporting overall plant maintenance needs.

• Perform installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical systems including motors, motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, instrumentation, and power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in manufacturing and process equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform general industrial maintenance technician duties as required, including support of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process equipment, with electrical work as the primary discipline.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of pumps, mixers, conveyors, valves, sensors, heaters, and other production equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and technical documentation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and related industrial systems.
• Support installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment, process improvements, and facility upgrades.
• Work safely in hazardous and classified areas, adhering to all electrical, chemical, and environmental safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and Camco Chemical safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to identify issues, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation within the CMMS.
• Participate in on-call rotation, emergency response, and planned shutdowns as required.
• Assist with root cause analysis and reliability improvement efforts.
