Industrial Engineer

Role: Industrial Engineering

Experience: Min 3 years in Industrial Engineering Department (Manufacturing Industry)

Responsibility:

Ø Monitors operations with an eye toward improving productivity and efficiency.

Ø Designs efficient production processes and workflows.

Ø Ensure that processes are designed to ensure that products meet quality standards.

Ø Reduces waste and addresses production issues.

Ø Reviews production schedules, processes, and specifications.

Ø Evaluates data to implement technological improvements in production processes.

Ø Implements controls to monitor costs and minimize production issues.

Ø Identifies potential locations and determines facility design.

Ø Works with other departments to develop design and production standards.

Ø Designs facility layout and personnel requirements in relation to production operations.

Ø Helps to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.

Ø Hires, trains, and oversea production personnel.

Ø Ensures that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.

Ø Generate process documentation and reports.

Ø Works with technical writers to prepare client and customer proposals.

Job Skills & Qualification:

Ø Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards in the field or industry

Ø Understanding of lean manufacturing and supply-chain management

Ø Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Just In Time (JIT) strategizing

Ø Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Ø Data analytics skills and experience

Ø Attention to detail

Ø Understanding of ergonomics

Ø Project management skills

Ø Strong communication and presentation skills

Ø Organizational, planning, and documentation skills

Ø Adept at using presentation software and presenting complex information to non-technical management personnel and others.

Ø Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously

Ø Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms

Ø Experience using System Applications and Products (ERP) software

Ø BS in industrial engineering or related field such as manufacturing or mechanical engineering, required

Ø 2-3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment

Ø Master’s degree in engineering a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹325,000.00 per year
