Industrial Fabric CNC Operator / Sewing Machinist

Location: Batley

Pay: £12.80 per hour (for ages 21+)

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

Holiday: 25 days per year (20 days pro rata), plus bank holidays

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Industrial Fabric CNC Operator / Sewing Machinist to join our team in Batley, manufacturing filter bags

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in manufacturing, as no experience is necessary and full training will be provided

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Loading and operating the CNC fabric cutter

Measuring materials and carrying out quality control checks

Sewing using flat bed, joiner and overlocker machines

Sewing industrial heavy garments / fabric products

Packing orders for dispatch

Carrying out daily maintenance of machines

A good eye for detail

Willingness to learn new skills

Good timekeeping and reliability

Ability to work as part of a team

A hands on approach to work
