Industrial Machine Mechanic

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Machine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a passion for troubleshooting and repairing equipment. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as power tools, measuring gauges, and electrical equipment. Must be able to read blueprints.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to equipment failure.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the mechanical field.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and management effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in mechanics or related fields are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.27 - $30.06 per hour
