Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with strong welding experience to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving facility equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.

Core Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment to minimize downtime

- Diagnose equipment issues and repair or replace faulty components

- Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems including motors, pumps, and conveyors

- Assist with installation and calibration of production equipment

- Keep accurate maintenance records and communicate updates to leadership

- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures

Welding & Fabrication Responsibilities

- Perform welding using FCAW, MIG, TIG, and Stick processes

- Cut, grind, and fabricate metal components for repairs and builds

- Set up and adjust welding equipment based on materials and specifications

- Inspect and maintain welding machines and tools

- Apply metallurgy knowledge to ensure weld strength and integrity

- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and identify defects

- Follow all PPE and welding safety standards

Additional Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

- Support plant safety initiatives

- Work closely with maintenance team and leadership

- Assist with preventative maintenance programs

Qualifications

- Minimum 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience

- Strong welding skills (required)

- Electrical troubleshooting experience

- Knowledge of 4–20mA circuits and 24VDC controls

- Mechanical knowledge including hydraulics

- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals

- PLC experience preferred (programming is a plus)

- Strong problem-solving skills and self-motivation

Education

- High School Diploma or GED required

- Technical training preferred or equivalent experience
