Industrial Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machinery and building systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot control panels, wiring, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general repairs using hand and power tools (e.g., hammers, drills, wrenches, saws).
• Handle minor fixes such as unclogging drains, repairing doors, or fixing leaky faucets.
• Monitor HVAC and other critical systems to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workspaces in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Order and track necessary tools, parts, and supplies.
• Coordinate with team members and contractors during renovations or facility upgrades.
• Record and report completed maintenance tasks and any items requiring follow-up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
