Ferti Technologies is a growing company that is a blender of specialty fertilizers for landscape professionals, golf courses and the retail market. Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
- Servicing and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and production-related equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
- Communicating with the production team and coordinating repairs around production schedule.
- Participate in daily meeting to discuss and plan scheduled projects.
- Supervise subcontractors during installations, repairs, or maintenance on equipment and/or the facility.
- Inspect and maintain building HVAC systems.
- Monitor inventory of materials, equipment, and parts.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Experience as an industrial maintenance technician, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.
- Welding experience (MIG & stick) certification a plus.
- Knowledge and experience maintaining conveyor belts & bucket elevators.
- Knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations.
- Attention to detail.
- Good computer skills.
- Knowledge of controllers a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma: Degree from a vocational school will be a plus.
1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) – Hourly full-time position, must be flexible and available to work weekends when needed, overtime mandatory during the busy season
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
