Industrial Maintenance Technician

Ferti Technologies is a growing company that is a blender of specialty fertilizers for landscape professionals, golf courses and the retail market. Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Servicing and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and production-related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
• Communicating with the production team and coordinating repairs around production schedule.
• Participate in daily meeting to discuss and plan scheduled projects.
• Supervise subcontractors during installations, repairs, or maintenance on equipment and/or the facility.
• Inspect and maintain building HVAC systems.
• Monitor inventory of materials, equipment, and parts.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.

Skills

• Experience as an industrial maintenance technician, or similar role.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge.
• Welding experience (MIG & stick) certification a plus.
• Knowledge and experience maintaining conveyor belts & bucket elevators.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations.
• Attention to detail.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of controllers a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma: Degree from a vocational school will be a plus.

1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) – Hourly full-time position, must be flexible and available to work weekends when needed, overtime mandatory during the busy season

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
