Industrial Mechanic - Downstream Metal Recycling Operations

Complete Recycling Group (CRG) - Elkton, MD

CRG is hiring an experienced industrial mechanic to keep our downstream metal processing line running. You'll be the go-to person for mechanical reliability on conveyors, shredders, eddy currents, sorting equipment, and supporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance on bearings, belts, rollers, drives, gearboxes, and hydraulics
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns to minimize downtime on the downstream line
• Maintain spare parts inventory and order replacements before failures occur
• Welding and fabrication for repairs and equipment modifications
• Coordinate with operators to schedule maintenance around production
• Document work orders, PM schedules, and equipment history

Qualifications

• 5+ years industrial maintenance experience, recycling or heavy manufacturing preferred
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Welding and cutting torch proficiency
• Basic electrical knowledge a plus
• Self-directed, reliable, able to work safely around heavy equipment
• Valid driver's license

Compensation Competitive pay based on experience, benefits, overtime opportunities.

Pay: $27.61 - $33.25 per hour
