About the Role

Melfred Borzall is adding an Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve our CNC-based manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on process improvement, Lean implementation, and shop-floor problem solving.

We are looking for an engineer who enjoys working closely with production teams and turning ideas into repeatable, documented processes.

What You’ll Do

  • Support and improve CNC machining processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput
  • Work directly on the shop floor to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements
  • Develop and document manufacturing processes, standard work, and work instructions
  • Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, waste reduction, process flow)
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams
  • Support continuous improvement and production priorities as the business grows

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering

(or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience)

  • Experience in a CNC machining environment (required)
  • Strong Lean Manufacturing background
  • Experience with process development and documentation
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a welding or fabrication environment
  • Exposure to automation or robotic systems
  • Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing data

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
