About the Role
Melfred Borzall is adding an Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve our CNC-based manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on process improvement, Lean implementation, and shop-floor problem solving.
We are looking for an engineer who enjoys working closely with production teams and turning ideas into repeatable, documented processes.
What You’ll Do
- Support and improve CNC machining processes to increase efficiency, quality, and throughput
- Work directly on the shop floor to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements
- Develop and document manufacturing processes, standard work, and work instructions
- Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, waste reduction, process flow)
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams
- Support continuous improvement and production priorities as the business grows
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering
(or equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience)
- Experience in a CNC machining environment (required)
- Strong Lean Manufacturing background
- Experience with process development and documentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a welding or fabrication environment
- Exposure to automation or robotic systems
- Familiarity with ERP systems or manufacturing data

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
