Industrial Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Spray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to various surfaces using spray equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial painting techniques, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a warehouse environment. The Spray Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.

Duties

• Operate spray equipment to apply coatings and finishes on products with precision.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to assist in the preparation and finishing processes.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following lean manufacturing principles.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of coatings.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

Experience

• Previous experience in industrial painting or a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and processes is beneficial.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Basic math skills are required for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
• Experience with welding, crane operation, or other related skills is a plus.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is advantageous.
