Job Overview:
INDUSTRIAL BLASTERS/PAINTERS & HELPERS

Rancho Cucamonga, CA based industrial painting company, is looking for Industrial Painters/ Sandblasters

• Ability to lift and/or carry 80-pound sandbags and 50-pound 5-gallon buckets of paint.
• Previous construction experience or similar industrial painting experience is a plus.
• Responsible for operating and maintaining blasting and painting equipment to ensure proper set up, calibration, cleaning and breakdown after the work is completed.
• Consistently prepares and coats surfaces to achieve the required coating quality and long-term performance, checking for any defects or inconsistencies and making adjustments as needed.
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, including wearing personal protective equipment and following safety procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues, performs routine maintenance, and assists with equipment repairs.

Requirements:

• Knowledgeable about painting techniques (spray, brush and roller applications) and types of paint and coatings.
• Participation in annual sandblasting, painting and other types of training
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with clients, third party contractors and the company work team.
• Ability to receive and interpret instructions on specific assignments, objectives and complex features; solve problems and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work at heights and stand, climb and walk continuously during an 8-hour period.
• Ability to perform strenuous work in unfavorable climate conditions (hot and cold, etc.)

Schedule

• Day shift
• Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM (times may vary)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Weekends as needed

Compensation:

• Pay: $17.00 per hour
• Overtime pay

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)
