Job Summary:

The Site Safety / Industrial Safety Manager will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving safety standards at the project site. The role ensures compliance with statutory safety regulations, company safety policies, and promotes a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) plans and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Factory Act, IS standards, and local safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all workers.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for workers and staff.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and supervisors to ensure safe work practices.
  • Maintain safety documentation, registers, permits, and statutory records.
  • Monitor work at height, lifting operations, confined space work, electrical safety, and fire safety systems.
  • Liaise with government safety inspectors and support safety audits.
  • Stop unsafe work practices and take corrective actions when required.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma / Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, or equivalent.
  • Mandatory Safety Certification (NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS / DIS / IOSH Managing Safely preferred).
  • Minimum 3–7 years of experience in industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Good knowledge of Indian safety laws, standards, and site safety practices.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of industrial and construction safety norms
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle audits, inspections, and emergency situations
  • Documentation and reporting skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Email)

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: As per company norms and experience

Work Timings:

Mon - Sat - 8:00 to 18:00

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
