Responsibilities:
Position Overview:
As an Industrial Services Engineer, you will contribute to engineering efforts across a broad spectrum of mechanical utilities with a focus on ammonia and refrigeration, boiler systems and wastewater systems. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams and factory-level engineering groups to support capital projects, optimize utility systems, and ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Your work will support impact operational excellence and environmental stewardship across our facilities.
Accountabilities:- Contribute to engineering support for mechanical utilities including steam, chilled water, cooling tower water, domestic water, compressed air, HVAC, refrigeration, and hazardous gases
- Assist with wastewater management and ammonia cooling operations in industrial facilities
- Support mechanical utility standards, design, project execution, and system performance
- Participate in engineering design and review for capital projects including scopes of work, requests for quotes (RFQ), construction packages, and commissioning activities
- Help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of mechanical utility systems, with attention to minimizing environmental impact and resource consumption
- Collaborate with factory-level Industrial Services teams including supervisors and technicians
- Support compliance with federal, state, and internal standards from design through operation and maintenance
- Research and recommend facilities, equipment, and technology improvements
- Prepare technical analysis of facilities, technologies, and systems
Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
Education Level:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in engineering (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing maintenance setting, with focus on industrial systems
- Ability to travel to plant sites as required
Skills:
- Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively with employees at all levels
- Strong interpersonal skills - Listening and informing others effectively; excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels both internal and external.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimal direction. Must be a self-motivated self-starter.

- Ability to travel to plant sites as required, typically up to 50%
