Hoffmann Group USA is seeking an Industrial Tool Procurement Specialist. The Procurement Specialist will play a key role in sourcing and quoting products within our industrial tooling portfolio, which includes cutting tools, abrasives, metrology equipment, hand tools, power tools, workstation and storage solutions, and personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires accuracy, efficiency and adherence to established pricing structures. The role involves cross-referencing competitor products, converting part numbers across brands, and ensuring timely completion of large-scale tender lists. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, deadline driven, and highly collaborative.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit accurate quotes based on part numbers provided by customers.
  • Convert competitor product descriptions and part numbers into equivelent company offerings within the industrial tooling portfolio.
  • Reference competitor websites and industry resources to ensure correct product identification.
  • Follow established pricing structures and discount guidelines for all quotations.
  • Manage large tender lists from customers, ensuring all items are accurately quoted within required timelines.
  • Track project milestones and deadlines, ensuring deliverables are met.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (sales, technical, logistics, and operations) to gather information and resolve issues quickly.
  • Act as a central point of contact for tender-related inquiries.
  • Maintain organized records of all quotes, conversions, and supporting documentation.
  • Provide updates and reports to management on project status and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two plus years of procurement, sourcing, or quotation experience in a in an industrial tooling, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in cross-referencing and converting technical product data.
  • Knowledge of industrial tooling categories, including cutting tools, abrasives, metrology, hand tools, power tools, workstation and storage solutions, and PPE.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with the abiliity to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and online product research.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
