Industrial Welder

Flame Metals is a commercial Heat Treater in Rogers, MN. We are currently looking for an experienced Welder to join our team.

The Welder is responsible for the fabrication and repair of metal components and objects using a variety of welding techniques, including arc and wire-feed welding. This position supports both fixture fabrication and the repair and maintenance of steel components used throughout our operation.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Days

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

• Fabricates, joins and/or repairs equipment, fixtures, and various types of metal objects using oxygen-acetylene, electric arc, MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Operates drill presses, power saws, grinders, and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools.
• Analyzes plans, drawings, work samples, specifications and/or work orders in order to determine sequence of welding assignment.
• Maintains welding supply inventory.
• Performs related tasks ... cutting, grinding, assembling, etc.
• Maintains a safe and organized work area.
• May assist maintenance personnel in the completion of their work assignments.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Stand in place for periods of time
• Lift, squat, bend, carry parts and reach on a daily basis
• Communicate with co-workers and supervisors
• Forklift experience helpful
• Previous welding experience
• Manufacturing experience helpful

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour
