Infant and Toddler Teachers

Key to Life Childcare is in need of a compassionate and nurturing Lead Teachers. Key to Life educators are responsible for providing developmentally appropriate lessons and programs. They encourage creativity and learning through play.

The ideal Lead Teachers would have at least one of the following qualifications:

-Child Development or Early Childhood Education Associates Degree

-Early Childhood Education courses specified by state licensing regulations

-1 to 2 years of early childhood experience

Responsibilities:

-Plans, implements, and evaluates curriculum in accordance with the mission, purpose & philosophy of Early Childhood Ministry, under the direction of the Director

-Develops lesson plans and newsletters

-Sets up & maintains appropriate, nurturing classroom/child care environment

-Keeps written daily plan of daily activities

-Originates correspondence with families

-Plans events throughout the year for the class

-Provides guidelines and direction to assistant and substitutes

-Meets the needs of the children

-Keeps current records of child's development

-Helps teach independence
