We are seeking a dedicated and experienced infant and toddler teacher for our infant and toddler classroom. We're looking for enthusiastic professionals who are passionate working with young children in a stimulating and safe environment. This position includes interacting with both children and their parents alongside their coteacher on a daily basis, working closely with management and aspiring to improve the program's quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of infants.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children and their families through effective communication.
- Assess and document children's progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and address individual learning needs.
- Provide support for children with special needs and implement early intervention strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Associates/CDA in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with students and parents
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques
- Experience with curriculum development and early intervention strategies
- Familiarity with special education practices and literacy education
