Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Assistant Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will nurture the youngest learners during their most formative years. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. Your energy and compassion will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning, growth, and curiosity.
Hours
8:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development for infants.
- Support classroom management by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment tailored to infants’ needs.
- Provide attentive infant care including feeding, diapering, soothing, and supervising nap times according to established routines.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, music, and sensory activities that stimulate development and curiosity.
- Collaborate closely with lead teachers and caregivers to monitor each child's progress and address individual needs effectively.
- Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including first aid procedures when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental milestones.
Experience
- Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for early childhood education is essential.
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management techniques tailored to infants.
Negative TB test and Nevada State Licensing Background check required by start date.
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
