Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support for infants in a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering early childhood development, ensuring the well-being of each infant, and creating a positive atmosphere that promotes growth and learning. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, loving care to infants, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and comforting as needed.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
- Monitor infants’ health and safety continuously, adhering to all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of daily activities, milestones, feeding schedules, and health updates.
- Collaborate with parents and team members to ensure consistent care and communication about each infant’s needs.
- Support early childhood development through play-based learning, sensory activities, and social interaction.
- Manage classroom routines effectively while maintaining a clean, organized environment conducive to learning and growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in infant care or early childhood education; preschool or daycare experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in caregiving for infants.
- Certification in first aid and CPR or willing to obtain. Additional certifications in special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to nurture positive behavior management strategies.
- Ability to work effectively with children of different backgrounds and needs, including toddlers with special needs or developmental delays.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families and team members.
