Infant Event Sitter

Kreative Sitters is seeking reliable, caring, and enthusiastic Sitters to join our team. As an Infant Event Sitter you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and happiness of the infants in our care. We are looking for individuals who love working with children and can provide exceptional care in any environment. This position requires flexibility as most events and workshops may need service during the week, evenings and on weekends.

Event Infant Sitter Responsibilities

(Weddings, corporate events, nonprofit events, etc.)

• Provide safe, attentive care for infants in a group childcare setting at events
• Create a calm and secure space for infants separate from event noise when possible
• Follow individualized care instructions provided by each parent
• Manage multiple infants while maintaining high safety standards
• Coordinate with team members to ensure proper child-to-sitter ratios
• Track and communicate feeding times, diaper changes, and naps to parents
• Soothe infants in unfamiliar environments using appropriate calming techniques
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized childcare area at the event
• Follow strict check-in/check-out procedures for parents and children
• Maintain professionalism while representing Kreative Sitters at high-level events
• Stay alert in fast-paced, high-energy environments
• Adapt quickly to schedule changes or varying event timelines
• Ensure all safety and emergency protocols are followed

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Previous experience in infant childcare
• CPR and First Aid certification
• SIDS training (preferred)
