Infant Lead Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your leadership will ensure that each child's developmental needs are met through engaging activities, compassionate caregiving, and effective classroom management. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote early childhood development and learning in infants.
  • Provide attentive caregiving that meets individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and soothing infants as required.
  • Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to exploration and discovery.
  • Monitor and document each child's progress, behaviors, and milestones to inform ongoing care strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental updates and address any concerns proactively.
  • Lead classroom activities that foster social-emotional growth, motor skills development, and cognitive engagement.
  • Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting, demonstrating strong classroom management skills.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to early childhood education and infant care.
  • Certifications in first aid and CPR are required; additional certifications in special education or working with individuals with disabilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for infants and toddlers.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
