Infant Room Lead

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our classroom environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational atmosphere for children. As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding both staff and students, ensuring that all activities align with our educational goals and standards.

Duties

• Supervise and support classroom staff in implementing educational programs and activities.
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.
• Provide guidance and support to children in areas such as infant care, toddler care, and working with individuals with disabilities.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience for students.

Requirements

• Previous experience in preschool settings, nannying, babysitting, or special education is preferred.
• Strong skills in classroom management and the ability to educate children effectively.
• Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities.
• Knowledge of infant care and toddler care practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A genuine passion for working with children and contributing positively to their development.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
