Infant Room Teacher (CLOSER)

York Day Early Learning is preparing for some staffing changes to our Infant Room coming in late July, and are seeking to add an early childhood educator to our team!

This will be a daytime closing shift position from 8:30am/9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Our Assistant Group Supervisors with no credentials, start at $16 per hour. Pay is education based.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Applicant must be able to document 2 years working with children (2,500 documented hours), at minimum.
• Completion of a CDA, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and/or 2+ years of experience working with children is preferred.
• Must produce a clean PA Criminal History Check, FBI, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and National Sex Offender Registry Clearance.
• Successful applicant must obtain and pass a pre-employment physical examination and tuberculosis test; obtain and pass a bi-annual physical examination; have the visual ability to identify and respond to hazards; be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion and to lift children of various sizes; possess strength and endurance required to engage in exercise, group games, and other age-appropriate activities with, interact with, and maintain constant supervision of, the children enrolled in the program.
• Teachers must have reliable transportation.
