Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Nursery Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. Duties:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development
  • Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children
  • Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques
  • Conduct assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones regularly
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children’s progress, address concerns, and support early intervention strategies when needed
  • Plan engaging lessons that incorporate childcare best practices, early intervention techniques, and special education accommodations if applicable
  • Supervise daily toddler care routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor activities while ensuring child welfare standards are met

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children in a childcare settings with classroom management expertise
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques
  • Familiarity with curriculum development across subjects such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
  • Experience with special education needs and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
  • Ability to plan lessons aligned with educational standards and adapt activities for individual learning styles
  • Demonstrated commitment to child welfare, safety protocols, and creating an inclusive learning environment
