Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing environment that is specifically aimed toward infants and their individual needs during these early years of development. We are looking for staff who are interested in fostering growth, development, and curiosity with our infants and will give them a loving and caring environment to expand during these important developmental years. It's important to us that our teachers bring great energy and enthusiasm that will inspire young learners and support their individual needs through engaging activities, compassionate caregiving, and effective classroom management. Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, loving care to infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development in infants
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards
  • Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress with parents or guardians regularly
  • Support infants with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
  • Collaborate with your team to create great schedules and plans that will work for the individual needs of the children in your care.
  • Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and consistent routines

Experience

  • Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar caregiving roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
  • Classroom management skills tailored to early childhood settings
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with early childhood education best practices and safety protocols
  • Demonstrated ability to nurture, motivate, and engage young children in a caring manner

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
