Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where infants can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire young learners and support their growth during these foundational years. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate activities, ensuring the well-being of each child, and fostering positive relationships with families and colleagues alike.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging daily lesson plans tailored to infants’ developmental stages, including activities that promote sensory exploration, motor skills, and social-emotional growth
  • Provide attentive infant care by feeding, diapering, soothing, and monitoring health and safety at all times
  • Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive interactions among children
  • Maintain accurate records of each infant’s progress, routines, and any health or behavioral concerns
  • Collaborate with families to share updates on their child's development and address any questions or needs they may have
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, health regulations, and licensing requirements related to infant care
  • Support classroom management by organizing materials, maintaining cleanliness, and fostering a respectful atmosphere conducive to learning

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with infants in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
  • Excellent caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and the ability to respond calmly in various situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members
  • Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are advantageous but not mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged
