Infant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal will be to foster early development through age-appropriate activities, personalized care, and positive interactions that support each child's growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional growth.
• Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
• Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate play-based learning and sensory activities tailored to infants’ developmental stages.
• Manage classroom routines effectively, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and age-appropriate discipline strategies.
• Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and support consistent developmental goals.
• Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, behavior management strategies, and individualized care plans aligned with early intervention principles.
• Uphold standards of child welfare and safety by adhering to licensing regulations and best practices in childcare and preschool environments.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
• ECE units and Infant/Toddler units
• CPR Certified preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to infants and toddlers.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
• Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is a plus.
• Certification in early childhood education or related fields is desirable
• Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes physical activity, literacy education, math readiness, and social skills development.
