Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal will be to foster early development through age-appropriate activities, personalized care, and positive interactions that support each child's growth in social, emotional, cognitive, and physical domains. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, including literacy education, motor skills, and social-emotional growth.
- Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
- Design engaging lesson plans that incorporate play-based learning and sensory activities tailored to infants’ developmental stages.
- Manage classroom routines effectively, including diapering, feeding, nap times, and age-appropriate discipline strategies.
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and support consistent developmental goals.
- Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, behavior management strategies, and individualized care plans aligned with early intervention principles.
- Uphold standards of child welfare and safety by adhering to licensing regulations and best practices in childcare and preschool environments.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting.
- ECE units and Infant/Toddler units
- CPR Certified preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices related to infants and toddlers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
- Experience with special education needs or early intervention programs is a plus.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is desirable
- Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes physical activity, literacy education, math readiness, and social skills development. Pay: $20.00 per hour
