Infant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development in preschool-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
• Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and creativity.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and any incidents that occur in the classroom.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's activities and progress.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
• Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Proficient in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning environment.
• First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all students.
• Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
• Ability to develop engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
