Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, motor skills, social-emotional development, and cognitive growth.
- Provide attentive care to infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the day.
- Engage children in interactive activities that support language development, sensory exploration, and physical movement.
- Manage classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and professionalism.
- Monitor each child's developmental progress and communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones and needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create individualized learning plans for children requiring special education or early intervention services.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings such as daycare or preschool environments.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education tailored for toddlers.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Certification in early childhood education or related field preferred; relevant training in special education or Montessori methods is a plus.
- Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic environment while maintaining patience and enthusiasm.
- Commitment to child welfare standards and understanding of standardized testing procedures related to early childhood assessment.
