Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal is to foster early development through innovative curriculum development, personalized care, and meaningful interactions. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital part in supporting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of our youngest learners, ensuring they feel valued and inspired each day.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and foundational skills in a caring setting.
  • Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and emotional well-being of infants throughout the day.
  • Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods and support individualized learning needs.
  • Support children with special education needs through early intervention strategies and tailored activities.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive social interactions and emotional regulation among infants.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, milestones, and welfare.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings, especially with infants or toddlers.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management strategies, and early intervention practices.
  • Strong skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education suitable for infants.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing methods related to early childhood education and literacy assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori teaching methods is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment requiring patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children. Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
