Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills.
- Provide attentive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring their physical comfort and safety.
- Manage classroom activities with enthusiasm, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging experiences for every child.
- Utilize classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and encourage cooperative play among infants.
- Collaborate with families to share progress updates, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs.
- Incorporate early intervention strategies and special education practices when working with children requiring additional support.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's developmental progress, health information, and daily activities in compliance with licensing standards.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and teaching physical education tailored for infants.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists in early childhood education.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods is advantageous.
- Experience with standardized testing or assessments related to early literacy and math skills is a plus.
