Infant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to inspire and support learners across various age groups and educational needs. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and tailor instructional strategies to meet individual student needs. Your expertise will help students develop essential skills in literacy, math, social-emotional learning, and more, ensuring they reach their full potential. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with diverse learning styles, including those with disabilities or special needs such as autism or visual impairments.
  • Utilize learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Conduct assessments, standardized testing, and progress reviews to evaluate student achievement.
  • Provide mentorship and support for students’ social-emotional development, behavioral health, and overall well-being.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and team members.
  • Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design.
  • Knowledge of special education practices including behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and IEP implementation.
  • Expertise in early childhood education, preschool or toddler care, Montessori methods or early intervention strategies.
  • Familiarity with learning technology tools and digital resources for classroom integration.
  • Ability to manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and behavioral management strategies.
  • Background in literacy education, math instruction, physical education, music therapy or recreational therapy is a plus.
  • Proven experience working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Skills in tutoring, standardized testing preparation, proofreading educational materials, and instructional assessment.
