Job Requirements:

• 12 ECE units with 3 semester units related to infant care
• At least one year of experience working with infants in a license child care center or related field
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and additional center requirements by taking additional courses as needed
• Clean background check and medical clearance
• Reliable transportation

Typical Job Duties:

• Encourage language development throughout the day
• Provide physical care of infant children
• Facilitate social interactions between children
• Engage in creative methods of instruction
• Plan comprehensive lesson plans
• Instill a sense of order in the classroom and playground
• Practice ongoing classroom management techniques
• Cultivate a warm, nurturing, and respectful positive climate classroom
• Ensure the classroom and shared environments are clean, clutter free, safe, and organized
• Communicate effectively with families
• Background Check
• CPR Certification (preferable)

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
