We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the development of preschool-aged children, encouraging their growth in various areas including social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment for all students.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to support the individual needs of children, including those with special education requirements or disabilities.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to build a supportive community.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or educational settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience in classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is a plus.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
